Humans are "very likely" heating up the planet

Scientists are almost certain now: Temperature increases over the last 50 years were caused by human activity. "An inconvenient truth", as Al Gore sounds his global warming alert.

Truth is, governments and industries are now inreasingly taking action to reduce global warming. Similarly, the European Union implements REACH, the strictest law to date regulating the distribution and use of toxic chemicals - including lubricants - aimed at reducing the contamination of our surface and ground water systems.

Small changes to our daily routines can add up to big changes in helping to stop environmental polution and global warming. Here are some simple, practical things we can do:

Reduce Power Consumption and the amount of CO2 produced

RoHS Conformity

Restriction of Hazardous Substances, more commonly referred to as RoHS (simular to WEEE and ELV), is a European legislation (2002/95/EC) intended to severely curtail the use of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.

To minimise the environmental impact, Interflon products are completely free from these materials. As a result, they can be safely used when you want to ensure that you manufacture your products RoHS compliant.

Using biodegradable Products

Where leakage or run out could contaminate soil, groundwater, waste water or surface water systems, biodegradable products could be used. We make high performance cleaners that are meeting the latest demands of biodegradability that will ultimately degrade completely  when (accidentally) ending up in the environment.

Different to what you may have experienced using biodegradable products so far, the performance of Interflon product will meet - and probably exceed the performance of the ones that you now use. They can be used in steel works as well as in sensitive outdoor, ship-deck, rail infrastructure, offshore, road-work, mining and forestry and agriculture applications.
