Interflon is an International direct sales organization, selling to a wide range of industries and are currently looking for new Technical Sales Adviser’s with territories available throughout the UK.

                                               TECHNICAL SALES ADVISOR

This technical field sales role will see you working from your home office and selling directly to the end user. Your territory is clearly defined and you will live in or very near to that area. The role is strictly target led and although you will be developing an existing customer base your expected growth will come from new clients. You must be highly motivated and comfortable with direct selling including cold calling. This role would ideally suit a candidate with an engineering or technical aptitude or has spent time in manufacturing and or consumer service industries but this is not essential as an ability to sell is the key requirement. You will be well organised and PC literate as a Blackberry and Notepad are provided to interact with the Interflon Client Tracking system on a daily basis and for client support and communication.

You will report directly to the Area Manager whose role is purely to support you and will be responsible for you’re continued training and development. Comprehensive product training is given and continued support provided throughout your career.

Your main activities will include

    • Prospecting and cold calling your area for new clients
    • Making your own appointments and managing your diary effectively
    • Face to face selling all levels of client from engineers to senior management
    • Servicing and developing existing accounts (after probationary period)
    • Advising clients on lubricant based cost and energy saving solutions
    • Identifying areas for improved lubrication practices
    • Demonstrate and apply lubricants and degreasers in live working environments
    • Daily input of information on Interflon’s client database.
    • Daily communication with head office and your management team
    • Attending quarterly sales meeting and training sessions
